Dark Times

I've been in a dark place the past week... couple weeks... month. I've slept my days way. I've barely maintained communication with friends and family. I've spent the night with a lot more people than I'm proud of. At one point, I was so stressed and depressed that I made myself physically sick.(I had no idea that was possible). I was in such a weird place that I wasn't even making music. I hadn't touched my guitar in ages, until I finally wrote this last song. Honestly, I wasn't even going to share it. It just seemed so sappy and pathetic to be singing about how sad I was, and how I didn't want to be alone. However, upon listening back to the song, I could hear nuances from different conversations that I'd had with others who were also wandering through dark times. As I've said before " To me, music is about baring your soul to touch the heart strings of others" So its my duty to share these songs, no matter how personal.
